Dear Calvin,
Hello my fellow friend. I know it has been awhile since I have spoken with you. I am just writing you to sort of catch up on things. Probably you know me most famous for by my six wives and the ruling over the Church of England. I’ll start with the Church of England. They took the control over the church from the pope, so that I could rule it. I believe it isn’t right to let the pope decide whether I get to divorce or not. This outrages me. This is why I have taken over.
I also suppressed the reformation of the Roman Catholic Church. I do not respect how the pope could be so. Sure I may sound a little messed up for divorcing all my wives. But is it not right to not love anymore? Is man merely a slave to be forever with such women? I had to behead two of my wives in result of such catholic laws. I believe we should have the freedom of marriage or divorce whenever we choose to do so. All I wanted was a son for my royal authority, so that he can soon take over. No one respects what I want and won’t at least help me achieve my goal. When I want something, I get it. I had to behead two of my wives, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard, divorce two other, Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves, one died, who is Jane Seymour, and one was planned to be executed but survived, Catherine Parr. This all was to get my son.
Anyways, how are you doing? What has happened lately that you might think I might be interested in? What do you believe about the Roman Catholic Church? What do you think about the Pope? Do you think he’s fair to limit such love and marriage? What are your most strongest beliefs? Tell me a little about yourself.

Dearly Beloved,
Henry the VII
